The Peace of Jesus is the Heart of Mary

Today is a day of joy. God caresses every wound that falls upon weak man. All are caressed, all are already instruments and steps to ascend to God. “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given.” From now on, God is with me. From now on, God is so mine, so close to me, so within my reach as a child is within the reach…

Today is a day of joy. God caresses every wound that falls upon weak man. All are caressed, all are already instruments and steps to ascend to God. “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given.”

From now on, God is with me. From now on, God is so mine, so close to me, so within my reach as a child is within the reach of his parents. A tiny little child belongs entirely to his parents. God is already entirely mine.

A CHILD. How humble God is! He becomes a tiny, defenseless Child. He becomes weak in Mary’s arms. He entrusts Himself to her lap, to her care.

Because the PEACE of Jesus is the Heart of Mary. We already have at our service the Owner of Peace. The Author of peace. The founder of peace. The King of peace. Vast is His dominion. Great is His influence. Extensive and profound is His impact. And peace reaches men, this hopeless world, in the arms of Mary.

When Jesus enters our valley of tears, the angels fill the universe with the echo of this single voice: “Glory to God in the highest and on earth PEACE to men of good will” (Lk. 2:14).

The weight of God, His omnipotence, His wisdom, His love, breaks the hard structures of sin, entering into the troubled, afflicted, bound world; bearer of the first gift, of the first offering, of the offering of PEACE.

How happy it is to be Christian!
All this is brought to me through Mary’s womb. The Peace of the Child of Bethlehem hovers over every situation, over every problem. How happy it is to be Christian! There is no complication, however hard, incredible, or difficult it may be, that is exempted. All your personal life, apostolate, and family life, with all the problems sometimes so hard and despairing that they bring you, can be lived in the peace of this Child, the Child of Bethlehem.

This is the Child whom Mary presents to me today. Of this Child, the apostle Saint Paul says that He is destined so that we may all attain full riches, in the full understanding and perfect knowledge of the mystery that is God. Receive Him!

Thank you, Lady! Thank you very much, Mary!
