My name is Carlos, and I am writing this from Ecuador. For years, my life was immersed in disorder and sin. Alcohol, bad company, and a deep selfishness had completely driven me away from God, destroying both my peace and that of my family along the way. I lived in a darkness that I tried to fill with fleeting pleasures, but which only left me emptier.
Everything changed in October 2023, when a friend, seeing my decline, told me about the Reign of Mary apostolate. At first, I approached it with skepticism, but when I heard the call to conversion and the urgency of lifting one’s eyes toward Heaven, something stirred within me. It was there that I rediscovered devotion to the Holy Rosary, not as a mechanical repetition, but as a true refuge and a weapon of transformation.
I began praying it daily. At first, it was a battle against my old habits, but the Blessed Virgin Mary gradually broke the chains of my vices. The Rosary gave me the strength to go to confession after many years and straighten my path. Today, my life of sin is behind me; grace has restored my home and returned to me the dignity of being a son of God. The Queenship of Mary was the bridge the Virgin used to rescue me from the abyss.
