While in the Netherlands, a Protestant man who visited her together with his wife remarked that, in his opinion, Catholics gave excessive importance to Mary.
“Without Mary, there is no Jesus,”
She replied in her characteristic manner: brief and with simple logic.
Her answer must have made her interlocutor reflect, because a few days later she received a beautiful postcard from him bearing the following words:
“Without Mary, there is no Jesus.”
